1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using the Friends Nearby application ("Service"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any term, do not use the service.
2. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purposes. You are responsible for your conduct and all content you post. You agree not to:
- Post illegal, offensive, defamatory content, or content that violates third-party rights.
- Use the service for stalking, harassment, or any form of abuse.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts.
- Provide false or misleading information when creating Points of Interest (POIs).
3. User-Generated Content
You retain the rights to the content you create, such as POI information and images. However, by posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display that content within the Service. We reserve the right to review (including automatically) and remove any content that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate, at our sole discretion.
4. Premium Features and Payments
Friends Nearby offers Premium features through a "30-day Pass", acquired via a one-time payment. This pass is not a recurring subscription. Payments are processed by our partner (Stripe) and are subject to their terms. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except when required by law.
5. Privacy
Your privacy is extremely important to us. Our Privacy Policy details how we collect and use your information. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. In no event shall Friends Nearby be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
7. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
